Geographic Limitation
This return policy applies exclusively to customers located in Canada. Our services are directed solely to Canadian consumers.
At Mary & Peter Toronto, customer satisfaction is important to us. If for any reason your purchase does not meet your expectations, we are happy to explain our return policy clearly below.
Order Confirmation and Policy Agreement
By placing an order on our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Return & Refund Policy.
By completing your purchase, you confirm that:
- You accept the return conditions and timelines outlined below
- You agree to follow the required return process
- In the event of a payment dispute or chargeback, this policy and all related order records may be used as supporting documentation
Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, the following conditions apply:
- Items may only be returned after they have been physically received by the customer.
- Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
- Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged, and returned in their original condition with all tags and labels attached.
- Trying on an item to assess fit is allowed; wearing the item beyond this is not permitted.

Ordering multiple sizes with the intention of returning part of the order is discouraged. We reserve the right to refuse returns in cases of excessive or abusive return behaviour, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
Return Process
To ensure a smooth return, follow these steps:

Contact our customer service team at info@marypetertoronto.com within 30 days of receiving your order to request a return. Include the following information:

- Order number
- Reason for return
- Your full name and shipping address
- Photos of the item (if damaged or incorrect)

After approval, you will receive the return instructions and return address.

Ship the item back at your own expense. Any shipping or customs-related costs remain the responsibility of the customer.

We strongly recommend using a shipping method with Track & Trace, as we cannot be responsible for items lost during return shipment.
Returned items may be shipped to our international logistics or manufacturing partner outside of Canada, including China. Customers are responsible for all return shipping and any applicable customs or import charges.
Refunds
Once your return has been received and inspected, and the item meets the return conditions, the refund will be processed within 14 business days using the original payment method.
Refunds cover the product price only.
Original outbound shipping, return shipping, and any customs or import charges are non-refundable.
Defective, Incorrect or Damaged Items
If your item arrives defective or incorrect, please contact us within 5 days of delivery.
To assist you quickly, include:
- Order number and full name
- Brief description of the issue
- Clear photo evidence (or video)
Once verified, we may offer:
- A replacement (depending on availability)
- A refund or alternative solution
- In some cases, a return may not be required
Lost, Unclaimed or Refused Packages
If your package is marked as delivered but cannot be located, we will assist you by initiating a courier investigation and arrange a replacement or refund if confirmed lost.
If a package is:
- Refused at delivery
- Unclaimed
- Returned due to an incorrect address provided by the customer
We reserve the right to apply a $35 CAD deduction to your refund to cover administrative and shipping costs.
Responsibility & Liability
- Once an order is marked as delivered by the carrier to the address provided at checkout, responsibility transfers to the customer. In case of delivery issues, we will assist customers where possible by initiating a carrier investigation.
- Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.
- Any address changes or corrections must be reported within 24 hours of placing the order.
Cancellations
Orders can only be cancelled before they are shipped.
To request a cancellation, email us as soon as possible at: info@marypetertoronto.com Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. If your order has already shipped, you may request a return after delivery in accordance with our return policy. Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer.
Chargebacks & Dispute Resolution

In the event of a chargeback or dispute, we may provide documentation such as:

Submitting a chargeback without prior communication may delay resolution and affect future order eligibility.
Important Notes
- All approved returns must be shipped to our designated international return warehouse in Asia at the customer’s expense.
- Mary & Peter Toronto is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs processing, or international clearance procedures.
- For hygiene-sensitive products, returns will not be accepted if the item shows signs of wear, use, or unsanitary handling.
- Returns are not free. Shipping, handling, and any applicable customs or import fees remain the responsibility of the customer.
